Proposed Constitution Pipeline May Move Forward in 2025

According to Fox Business, Energy Secretary Chris Wright announced that work on the long-discussed Constitution Pipeline, designed to bring natural gas from Pennsylvania through New York to supply New England, could begin by the end of this year.

On ‘Mornings with Maria’, Wright stated that it is “highly likely” the pipeline will move forward.

Blocked in 2020 when New York denied permits amid environmental opposition, the pipeline is now back under discussion due to growing concerns over high energy costs in the Northeast.

“It’s just such a win, win, win,” Wright said, arguing that both businesses and consumers in the region would benefit.

Trump has expressed strong backing for the pipeline, stating that it could save families in New York and New England up to $5,000 annually in energy costs.

While the future of the project remains uncertain, renewed political and economic pressures may finally push the Constitution Pipeline toward construction.
